Earn Etihad Guest Miles with airberlin

You can now earn Etihad Guest Miles when traveling with airberlin and NIKI. Simply quote your Etihad Guest Number when making a booking with airberlin or NIKI and remember to present your Etihad Guest Card at check-in. The number of miles earned will depend on the class of booking as shown below.

Etihad Guest Members will earn tier miles for travel on airberlin.

Claim Missing Partner Miles

Please retain your tickets and boarding passes until your miles are credited to your account. If you do not receive the credits within six weeks, please advise the Etihad Guest Service Centre on +800 GUEST. Missing miles can be claimed up to 6 months from the date of travel.

Redeem Miles with airberlin

To make a reward booking on airberlin and NIKI, please contact the Etihad Guest Service Centre at least 14 days prior to your intended date of travel. Flights that are both operated and marketed by airberlin and NIKI, are available for redemption.

Service benefits

For Etihad Guest Platinum, Gold and Silver Members on all airberlin and NIKI operated flights regardless of class of travel.

Members can access the Exclusive Waiting Areas by swiping their Etihad Guest Card or by calling the airberlin ticket desk using the courtesy phone located at the entrance of the Waiting Area. The benefits shall be granted to eligible Etihad Guest Members and are governed by the topbonus programme rules granted to the topbonus eligible members.

In airports where airberlin offer a lounge operated by a third party (lounges not owned or operated by airberlin), Etihad Guest members will be entitled to access this lounge only when booked to travel in business class.

Terms and conditions

Earning Miles with airberlin

  • Flights marketed by airberlin and NIKI and operated by a third-party carrier other than airberlin and NIKI or Etihad Airways will not be eligible for Etihad Guest Miles accrual.
  • Charter flights operated by airberlin and NIKI are not eligible for mileage accrual.
  • Flights taken on airberlin and NIKI are eligible to earn Etihad Guest Tier Miles and therefore do contribute to earning or maintaining your Etihad Guest Silver, Gold or Platinum.
  • Flights taken on airberlin are eligible to earn Etihad Guest Tier Miles and therefore contribute to earning or maintaining your Etihad Guest Tier status.

Redeeming Miles with airberlin

  • A minimum of 14 days advance notice is required for making a reward flight booking.
  • Award tickets are not valid on codeshare flights.
  • Seats are subject to availability.
  • A reward ticket for a child will be issued at the same value as for an adult.
  • Infant tickets will be issued at 10% of the adult mileage value.
  • Applicable taxes and surcharges will have to be paid at the time of ticket issuance.
  • The Business Class redemption rates will be twice the value of the economy redemption rates.
  • One way tickets are permitted.
  • Using miles for upgrades on partner flights are not permitted.
  • Reward tickets are valid for a maximum period of one year from the original date of issue.
  • One date change is permitted free of charge, any subsequent changes are as per Etihad Guest terms and condition.
  • On cancellation / Refund – as per Etihad Guest terms and conditions. 
  • Stop overs are permitted.
  • Name changes are not permitted.
