Please retain your tickets and boarding passes until such time your miles are credited to your account. If you do not receive the credits within six weeks, please advise the Etihad Guest Service Centre on +800 GUEST. Missing miles can be claimed up to 6 months from the date of travel.

Earning Miles on Sri Lankan Airlines

• Miles will only be earned on a code share flight operated or marketed by Etihad Airways & Sri Lankan Airlines. All other code share flights operated or marketed by Sri Lankan Airlines with an airline other than Etihad Airways will not qualify for miles.
• Mileage earning is based on actual distance flown.
• Charter Flights are not eligible for earning miles.
• Flights taken on Sri Lankan Airlines are not eligible to earn Etihad Guest Tier Miles and therefore do not contribute to earning or maintaining your Etihad Guest Silver or Gold Tier.

Redeeming Miles on Sri Lankan Airlines

• The Business Class redemption rates will be twice the value of the economy redemption rates.
• Award tickets are not valid on codeshare flights.
• Seats are subject to availability.
• A minimum of 14 days advance notice is required for making a reward flight booking.
• Reward tickets can be booked for one way or return journeys.
• A reward ticket for a child will be issued at the same value as for an adult.
• Infant tickets will be issued at 10% of the adult mileage value.
• Applicable taxes and surcharges will have to be paid at the time of ticket issuance.
• Redeeming miles for upgrades on partner flights are not permitted
• Date changes are possible free of charge within validity and subject to availability.
• Redeeming miles for upgrades on partner flights are not permitted.
• Awards are not valid on charter flights.
• Award tickets are non-endorsable, non-transferable and non-refundable.
• Reward tickets are valid for a maximum period of one year from the original date of issue.

Service Benefits

• The benefits listed above are for Etihad Guest Silver, Gold and Gold Elite Guest traveling on a SriLankan Airlines flight only.
• The airport lounge access is at Colombo Bandaranayke Airport only.
• Guests must present their Etihad Guest Membership card in order to avail the benefits above.
• Children between the aged of 2 and 12 are considered as adults for lounge entry purposes.
• Infants traveling with the lounge eligible guest shall be provided with lounge access provided the infant travels on the same flight as the lounge eligible member.
• The excess baggage entitlements above are applicable regardless of class of travel.
